Reminiscent of the yesteryears, this luxuriant villa is almost like a castle - with its gable roofs, stone-clad facade and cone-shaped canopies. As soon as you pull up to the driveway, this castle-like home will sweep you into a castaway experience. Almost something out of the Harry Potter universe, this luxurious holiday home is brimming with a host of experiences. 

Step into the home and the realisation hits - the contemporary interiors of the home strongly contrast the olden exteriors. Geometric patterns, monochromatic photographs and vibrant pastels take centre stage inside. Each indoor space is distinctly colour-themed - from blues and oranges to teals - the home is an experience in itself. Surrounded by forests, hills and overlooking breathtaking sunsets, its colonial interiors and exteriors ooze an alluring charm. The Space:

BEDROOMS
- There are 5 bedrooms - 1 room on the ground floor, 3 rooms and 1 suite room on the first floor. 
- Each bedroom has a distinct colour that is followed throughout - from the curtains to the bed covers to even the seating! 
- All bedrooms are equipped with a variety of amenities including an AC, heater, TV, Wi-Fi, electric kettle, king-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms.
- All rooms on the first floor have an attached balcony overlooking the garden. 
- The suite on the first floor opens up to an attached living room, furnished with sofa-cum-bed. 

BATHROOMS
- There are 5 ensuite bathrooms and 2 common bathrooms in the villa. 
- All bathrooms have solar heating, heaters, towels and basic toiletries.
- A separate dressing area is offered in all the attached bathrooms. 

COMMON AREAS
- There are 2 living rooms - 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor part of the suite. 
- Step into a world unlike any other and embrace the gorgeous views, the serenity and the absolute solitude in the hills of Kasauli. 
- Opening up to a vivid lobby, that leads to the formal living room and dining area, this holiday home hosts a range of common spaces. 
- The turqouise-washed sprawling drawing room is thoughtfully designed with monochromatic tables and chairs. 
- It can seat up to 8 people and is equipped with a plethora of amenities including Wi-Fi, AC and a heater. 
- The dining room is a part of the living room on the ground floor and offers comfortable seating for up to 18 people. 
- Both, the dining and drawing rooms open up to the lush green gardens outside, 816 sq. ft. and 1200 sq. ft. in size. 
- They offer comfortable seating for up to 16 people and 30 people respectively. 
- Bask in the hilly sun and savour the surrounding landscapes whilst in the calming sun room. 
- There is a library on the ground floor with a selection of books that offers seating for up to 8 people.

KITCHEN
- Guests do not have access to the kitchen. 
- It is equipped with a refrigerator, water purifier, crockery and cutlery. 

FOOD
- All meals can be provided in-house on an a la carte basis. 
- A barbecue kit/meal can be arranged at an extra charge.
- The order for lunch and dinner will have to be placed 3 hours prior. Snacks can be ordered 30 minutes prior. 
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. 

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa, except the kitchen and the second floor. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. 

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We can provide accommodation for 2 drivers at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per person, per day, inclusive of meal charges. The staff will be accommodated on the premises, in the staff room that is equipped with a mini-fridge, heater and a TV. Commercial drivers are not allowed. The cost for staff meals will align with that of adult meals, and an 18% GST charge will be added to these charges.

ACTIVITIES
Promising to be a blissful getaway in the rising hills of Kasauli, The Mansion is grand, royal and all things relaxing. Within the property, guests can enjoy and play indoor games like cards and ludo. Guests can take a peaceful walk in the lawn and embrace its beauty. They can enjoy authentic local meals. They can also relish a delicious barbecue meal and request for a bonfire to be lit up. They can venture out and go on a 20-minute hike, and admire the news from atop. They can visit the heritage railway tracks located 100 metres away from the property. They can also relax in the sunroom or pick out a book to read from the library.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
- Bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs.1000 per 3 hours. 
- Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- All-male groups are not allowed.
- In case of a power outage, the 64KVA generator can support all the appliances for up to 24 hours. If the generator is running for more than 8 hours, an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per hour will be levied. 
- The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property. 
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. 
- Guests do not have access to the second floor. 
- Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
- All mobile networks work fairly well here. 

HOUSE RULES
- Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas. 
- Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. 
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
