A place beyond the horizon where ripples of sand flow and create a tapestry of ridges across the Thar desert, welcome to an oasis of its own. The place is a journey into a realm of Thar desert and Rajasthani grandeur with a hint of Arabic and Moroccan influence. The place is divided into 4 distinct units, each a sanctuary amidst a desert with heritage amenities and culture. The first three units are elegant white tents that are placed graciously on this desert, almost appearing straight out of a storybook. Next, the treehouse perched up on a tree that assures you panoramic sweeping views of the desert. Each room is adorned with a luxurious bathroom and opens up to a patio, compact yet boisterous. The premises look like a scene from Arabian Nights, with the main building housing various amenities like a pit for traditional Rajasthani folk dance or an infinity pool. At this home, the magic of the desert unfolds as it offers a treasure trove of experiences. For those having an appetite for adventure, a free camel safari and jeep safari across the undulating dunes are awaiting your presence. Dine on the dunes with curated specialities, a meal at Sands of Thar is not just a meal but a culinary journey to ignite your senses. With its timeless allure and Rajasthani grandeur, Sands of Thar crafts your stay into a tale of magic and wonder.

We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, please note:
– CCTV cameras capture areas of the home for security purposes.
– In case of a power outage, the 2KVA inverter can support all fans and lights in each space for up to 3 hours.
– To maintain a peaceful vibe, play soft music outdoors and indoors after dark (10 pm). Loud music isn’t allowed.
– Secured parking is available for 20 cars.

Home Rules

Check-in time is 2 PM, and Checkout time is 11 AM.
This is a pet-friendly property.

WiFi connectivity is not offered at this property.
In case of a power outage, the DG can support all the appliances for up to 24 hours.
All mobile networks work fairly well here.
Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.
Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas for security purposes.
The caretaker stays outside the premises of the same property and is available from 8 AM to 8 PM.
This is a standalone property. The stay is divided into different units.
Alcohol consumption is allowed. Please do not carry food/drinks in and around the pool.
Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only.
We urge you to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering.
Children should be supervised while they are in or around the pool.
Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.

Food & Beverages Policy

Outside food is strictly not allowed at the home.
Jain meals are available upon request.
Guests can opt for meal options at an extra price. Meal payments have to be done a minimum 2 days prior to the booking for the concerned staff to take your order and source necessary items as the home is situated in a remote location.
Meal payments are non-refundable if the meals are not consumed by the guests
Guests are requested to carry their own alcoholic beverages, juices, cold drinks and refreshments as there are no markets nearby.

Cancellation Policy

Refund Eligibility Based on Cancellation Timeframe 100% refund of the booking amount will be issued if the cancellation is made 12 or more days before the check-in date.
If the booking is cancelled 6 to 12 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund will be issued in the original mode of payment.
No refund will be issued if the booking is cancelled within 6 days of the check-in date.
