About Kaashi Select Gurbaksh Villa

Tucked away in Karoran, just on the edge of Chandigarh, this home isn’t loud but quietly unforgettable for its beauty. Once the residence of a distinguished Colonel from the Indian Army, it stands today with timeless poise. Neo-classical in design, regal in presence, and deeply comforting in its embrace.

You’ll wake up to sweeping lawns kissed by morning mist, with the Shivalik range rising in the distance like a gentle reminder to slow down. Evenings here are something else entirely. Fiery sunsets, a pool that catches every last flicker of light, and a fireplace waiting to crackle into life beside the alfresco dining space to warm the winter nights.

The interiors are equally considered. Three elegant master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. A fourth room, modest and small, serves quietly when needed. The majestic living area is generous, flowing seamlessly into a six-seater dining room that feels made for meaningful meals and memorable conversations. There’s a dedicated entertainment room too for film nights, laughter, and a little indulgence.
Upstairs, you’ll find a charming study corner, a writing desk, a reading chair, and a picturesque backdrop. The two bedrooms on this level open out to private balconies, each offering its own frame of the hills beyond.

And while the villa feels wonderfully remote, Gaurav, the ever-gracious caretaker, will treat you to delicious vegetarian breakfasts, while Zomato takes care of everything else.

-The fully functional kitchenette is accessible to guest for preparing vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals using their own groceries.
– Large gatherings and parties are not permitted at this home. However, warm, cozy family get-togethers and intimate celebrations are welcome and encouraged, provided they respect the peaceful surroundings.
– Smoking is prohibited in the villa. A penalty is applicable if found smoking.
– Pets are not allowed at this home, as the resident dog calls this place home.
– Due to its secluded location, network connectivity is weak here, but Wi-Fi is available to ensure you stay connected during your stay.
– This home welcomes married couples, families, and corporate groups; gentlemen and stag groups are not permitted.
– Parking space is available for up to 3 cars.

Note: The last few kilometers leading to the property can be a bit challenging to navigate. We recommend arriving during daylight hours and using a vehicle with good ground clearance for a smoother journey.

Home Rules

Check-in time is 12 PM and Checkout time is 11 AM. Requests for early check-in or late check-out would be subject to availability with additional charges.
A cleaning fee of ₹1000 per day is applicable for each stay. This amount can be paid directly to the on-ground staff or settled during the time of booking.
This home welcomes married couples, families, and corporate groups; gentlemen and stag groups are not permitted.
100% payment for the accommodation is required to confirm a booking.
Guests are requested to bear with us on the check-in and check-out timings. We need this extra time to ensure the villas are clean and sanitized for your stay
Guests who are not checked, are not allowed to sleep or stay overnight in the villa.
Guests are responsible for his/her personal belongings and valuables. We request you to comply with the rules and regulations to make your stay in our villa comfortable
Smoking is prohibited in the villa. We recommend you smoke outdoors. While smoking, kindly use the ashtray to dispose of cigarette buds, and take all necessary precautions to prevent a fire.
Loud music will not be allowed post 10 pm.

Food & Beverages Policy

Guests can order food from their favourite restaurants in this vicinity via Zomato for added convenience.
An on-ground caretaker is available to prepare only vegetarian breakfasts, with guests covering the cost of groceries at actuals.
Meal payments have to be done minimum 2 days prior to the booking for the concerned staff to take your order and source necessary items, as the home is situated in a remote location.
Meal payments are non-refundable if the meals are not consumed by the guests.
For those who prefer to cook, the fully functional kitchen with a microwave, oven and refrigerator, and fine dine cutlery allows guests to prepare vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals using their groceries.
Guests are requested to carry their own alcoholic beverages, juices, cold drinks and refreshments as there are no markets nearby.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made up to 15 days prior to the check-in date, 80% of the booking amount will be refunded via the original payment mode or 100% in the form of a future credit note.
For cancellations made 8-14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the check-in date, the booking amount will be non-refundable.
Standard Cancellation Policy does not apply to peak or blackout dates. Refunds are only available if 100% payment has been made. Partial payments are non-refundable.
