Cancellation & Refund Policy

Kaashi is a vacation home rental marketplace and does not manage, operate, or control the cancellation and rescheduling policies for any homes listed on its platform (kaashistays.com). Each home is managed and operated by its respective owners or operating companies, who set their own cancellation and rescheduling policies.
Guests are strongly encouraged to carefully review the cancellation policy in the ‘Rules & Policies’ section of each home listing. Each home listing may have a different policy. 
In the case of unforeseen emergencies, the Kaashi team is dedicated to helping you find the best possible resolution; however, please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

CANCELLATION BY GUEST

  • If you wish to cancel 21 days before the check-in date, 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • If you wish to cancel between 7-21 days before the check-in date, 20% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • NO REFUND will be issued if cancellation request is made 7 days before the check-in date.

CANCELLATION OF HOME HOSTED BY “KAASHI SELECT” HOST

A 100% credit note can be made for the worth of booking amount to be utilized on a later available date for a stay at the ‘same’ home, if the request to cancel is made within 24 hours of booking. Only the difference amount will be required to be paid at the time of rescheduling if the final billing price is different than the credit amount. No discounts can be availed on rescheduling of a booking. 

  • If you wish to cancel 21 days before the check-in date, 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • If you wish to cancel between 10-20 days before check-in date, 20% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • NO REFUND will be issued if cancellation request is made 10 days before check-in date.

Rescheduling a booking is subject to the discretion of the managing brand or host. If your rescheduling request is approved, an additional 10% rescheduling fee will apply, along with any difference in the amount for the new selected dates (if applicable).
Once a booking is confirmed and the stay has been rescheduled, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

  • If stay duration includes any date that is a long weekend, a festival, or a gazetted state/national holiday, cancellation or reschedule requests cannot be entertained.
  • All refunds shall be credited in the original mode of payment within 14 working days of initiating the refund process.
  • Bookings made for events, shoots, conferences, or any activity for which the host had to make special arrangements cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
  • Stays booked through Kaashi with ‘non-cancellable discounts’ will override the cancellation policy of the booked home. As a result, no cancellation or rescheduling requests will be entertained.

    Cancellation fee of 10% subject to 18% GST shall be levied for processing refunds by KAASHI.
    In case of Partial payment made by the Guest, he/she shall be entitled to no refund.
