Ikigai is a Pet friendly 4-bedroom, 4500 sq. ft. nature-infused retreat, perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway that blends modern living with nature. Designed with biophilic principles it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
At the core of the entrance lies the Heart of the Villa – The magnificent Mango Tree, it symbolizes the connection between earth and sky and the deep roots acting as the spiritual and physical anchor of the home.
The design draws inspiration from traditional Indian architecture, using natural materials like terracotta and stone, traditional Mangalore tiles to create a warm, earthy feel with rich, organic textures.The layout encourages a seamless indoor-outdoor experience, with large windows and winding staircases adding to an aesthetic rustic interiors.
The highlight of the villa is its stunning pool, made from Baroda green stone, which reflects the sky by day and sparkles like a galaxy at night. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home.
Pets are allowed inside the pool. Guests are requested to carry pet beds and take care of their pets safety.
The approach road to the villa is slightly underdeveloped and has rough terrain.
Guests are requested to treat the beautifully curated stay and experience with care.
Property staff and caretakers will ensure a comfortable stay
Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen, please connect with the staff for any support.
A caretaker is present on the site along with additional staff for housekeeping, cleaning and cooking. An in-house chef will prepare the meals of your choice, be it authentic local, Indian, Chinese or continental.
Up to 4 cars can be parked on site.

Home Rules

Check-in time is 2 PM and Checkout time is 12 PM. Requests for early check-in or late check-out would be subject to availability with additional charges.
A Security Deposit of Rs. 20,000 is charged for each stay. This amount is 100% refundable in case of no damages or violation of house rules.
Guests are requested to bear with us on the check-in and check-out timings. We need this extra time to ensure the villas are clean and sanitized for your stay
Guests, who are not checked-in, are not allowed to sleep or stay overnight in the villa.
Guests are responsible for his/her personal belongings and valuables. We request you to comply with the rules and regulations to make your stay in our villa comfortable
Smoking is prohibited in the villa. We recommend you smoke outdoors. While smoking, kindly use the ashtray to dispose of cigarette buds, and take all necessary precautions to prevent a fire.
Loud music will not be allowed post 10 pm
Our staff would be happy to purchase any additional items that guests may need.
Guests are kindly advised that stag bookings are not permitted at this property.
Pets are strictly prohibited from accessing the swimming pool and bedrooms. Guest to ensure cleanliness of their pets.

Food & Beverages Policy

Outside food is strictly not allowed at the home.
Guests can opt for meal options at an extra price. Meal payments have to be done minimum 2 days prior to the booking for the concerned staff to take your order and source necessary items as the home is situated in a remote location.
Meal payments are non-refundable if the meals are not consumed by the guests
Breakfast timing is between 8 am to 10:30 am. This service closes at 11 am. Guests are requested to place their orders at least 24 hours in advance.
Guests are requested to carry their own alcoholic beverages, juices, cold drinks and refreshments as there are no markets nearby.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made up to 15 days prior to the check-in date, 80% of the booking amount will be refunded via the original payment mode or 100% in the form of a future credit note.
For cancellations made 8-14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the check-in date, the booking amount will be non-refundable.
Standard Cancellation Policy does not apply to peak or blackout dates. Refunds are only available if 100% payment has been made. Partial payments are non-refundable.
